2011 Holiday Greetings Video

I think me and Zach did really well on communicating with eachother during the scense, are energy was very good and it made the video better because when the actors are comfortable its makes it flow easier. Even though we didnt have the credits The backgrounds that we chosen went really well with the message we were trying to set to show people are traditions.
In Laura and Denise video i really like how they showed pictures of their traditions examples while they were talking, I though it was really cool because it gave the viewer more information about what they were talking about. In Bree`s and Demi`s video i liked how they used props on themself, the props related to their location and their tradition, it made it seem like they were really their and knew about their tradtion more.
What I did specificly on my video was i wrote my script and I mainley edited the clips and put them all together.
Zach helped me by making the title page and writing his script he brought in his santa hat as a crop which helped, he also uploaded the to Youtube, and we both came in on our own time to get ahead. I helped Zach by doing my part and editing and using After Effect to eliminate the greenscreen. What i would do differently if given the chance would probably use more props reletated to our tradition and adding music because i think when you have music in any kind of video it really makes it more interesting instead of having a queit background and the music can descride what your tradition is about.

Something i learned about group 6

What i learned about group 6 video is that you can tell that they put a lot of time and effort into it. I like how everything flowed and the editing was very well done. I think they did a good job on how the interviews were done, they were clear and very well put together. I liked how they used the background and title page it was very colorful and nicely done. I really learned a lot when i watched their video because they provided a lot of information both visual and vocaly so it was more of a variety for the viewers. Overall their video was very well put together.

Something i learned about group 8

For Bree, Julie, Michelle, & Cesar group video what i really liked about is how they used a lot of creativity in it. By playing different roles and having some scenes that were not at school but in different enviorments. It made me feel closer and it catched my attention better when i was watching it. The music went well with the tone and mood they were trying to make in the video. I really like how they used Lynn in a picture and then put her audio in for the background. It made it different because a lot of people didnt do that for their video so it made it more interesting. They did a very good job on it!

Group Cyberbullying & Sexting project

What parts of your video are you most satisfied with and proud of?
I think we are most satisfied with how everything flowed together and we had a really good variety of everything.
What comments from others were helpful to you in creating your final draft?
When people were helping us cut some clips that were maybe to long or not necesary, mayeb some parts that didnt look to professionasl we cut them and added different stuff in their place.
What changes did you actually make on your final video?
On our video we changed the title to make the wording more centered and we also moved all the "Dont do it," clips from the ends, through out the whole video. We also cut clips and did some more editing.
What changes would you make if you had another day or two?
If we had another day or two to work on the video i would probably focus a lot on the peoples names and how the color of them came out.
If you had the chance to do the project all over again, what would you do differently?
If i had to change one thing about my project i would try to make everyones interviews more clear so people would be able to understand them better.
What realizations, discoveries, and understandings did you reach about creating videos?
That a lot of people do understand what cyberbullying and sexting is but dont take it as seriously as people should unless it has or does effect them in some sort of way. It made me realize how dangerous it actually is and what the conseqences could be.
What other thoughts do you have about your own project?
I think for the time our group had and the reasources we did a really good job on team work and putting thsi video together. We were kind of clueless on how to use everything and what we were going to focus on but once we started it was very easy for us to do and we got it done on time.

Titles

This is an example creating titles, which means we are able to create titles for different sections of the videos. You might use this kind of title when you are wanting to show or descride someone or soemthing, or even when your making a video.

A simple cut in the timeline means cutting one section in the middle of the clip off. Whe you cut the other clips in the timeline it makes the video shorter. A ripple edit is when you are able to get a little section of the clip and cut it off. You do this by right clicking the mouse in the section that you want to get rid of, then click ripple delete. When you ripple delete, the other clips to the right of the deleted clip move over with the other ones already there. Lifting and extrqacting are two ways to cut a section of the clip from the timeline at one time. To do this, you have to go and follow the procedures the right way. Lifting is when you are able to pick sections up from the clips, while extracting is like deleted things from the clip, in terms of what happens to the other clips in the timeline. This is an example of inserting editting. I decided to use those two clips because i think that they best suit together with it all.

This video is an example of overlay editing clips. I decided to place the second clip together with the first clip. I used the second part of the clip to help the viewers be able to see the girls expressions on her face after she completed the race. The technical part of this was clicking the overlay clip from the Source pannel and getting it into the Timeline pannel, we go and put it on top of the the second clip making it then become overlay.

Baler Interview Project

In my final project the skills I have learned are being able to put different clips of videos and making one final project video. In my project i liked how i set the people up and the colors i used at the end credits. I feel like i need to improve my guide on being able to know what buttons are for what thing. For the process I did not have a partner but Elisa did help me out a lot by letting me know where things were and what to do for my next steps. If i could do this project over i would make sure that its on time and not get so far behind.

my introduction

This is my introduction to the class about me!
I learned how to edit videos and make a title pages. I would like to improve my skills on how to transfers files to my blog so it wont be so confusing.
My partner help me edit the video and make the title page, the slidshows on the school website help me understand the process of uploading videos on to my blog. One of the challenges we faced with making this introduction is my computer kept freezing on us!

Paitents

The message on this video is about this man who learns to have paitents when it comes to this little boy who steped in his wet cemment. The actions that communicate this message is when the little boy is stepping in the cemment instead of the man getting mad and yelling he lets it go. They really focus on ceter parts of the video they dont have much background so it makes you more interested in what they are trying to getting across as the message.
